I love the teamwork!
I love the teamwork and communication of my partners at Prairie Vista Village. I like how the nurses try to keep me well informed. I love love love how clean we all keep this facility. I appreciate that any request I put into maintenance is handled promptly. I also greatly appreciate the housekeepers, who handle unexpected messes with no problem. I appreciate my upper management who keep me informed of any policy changes. I also love the residents who are very patient and understanding!
Two Thumbs Up!
It’s a great place to work, especially if you like nice people. It’s been a joy for me in the people I work with and the ones I work for. They are fair, fun to work for and always having some kind of special day or days set aside for their employees. Anything from BBQs to pizza or donut day. You’ll almost forget it’s work related. Ultimately a great place and people. Two thumbs up!
I love being a part of the community.
I love the sense of community that I get from working at Prairie Vista Village. Each day I come to work I get to see the familiar faces of staff and residents. As a maintenance technician I get to help residents with tasks and it feels like helping a friend. I enjoy taking care of the smallest of work orders for residents because I can tell how much they appreciate the help. As someone who likes to stay busy, the new challenges each day keep me engaged as an employee. Overall, it is very gratifying work and I love being part of the community.
This is an awesome atmosphere.
My tenants are my number one reason for working at Prairie Vista Village. We have a very wonderful facility. We offer a variety of activities including movie night, wine and cheese day, hairdresser, manicures, shopping trips, the meadows, transportation to and from doctor visits, etc. Our Administrator and team are very professional. This is a very awesome atmosphere to be a part of. I love working here. The tenants always make my day.
We have great benefits.
What I love about working at Prairie Vista Village is I have made some really good friends and I like what I do for the residents. Their families tell me all the time I’m doing a good job and that’s why I love my job. I like the fact that we have a 401(k), medical, life insurance and other plans that we can pick from.
An Extension of Home
I have been in long-term care for over 33 years as a CNA and as Nurse. Prairie Vista Village focuses on the quality of our tenants daily life. We refrain from presenting ourselves as a “facility” and more as an extension of home. I love our cliental. Our management has settled in and we are no longer a “new” facility getting ourselves “up to standard” but a facility with policy and procedures in place and running very well. In addition, scheduling is usually very empathetic with personal situations with notice.
